CHALLENGE:  The existing building was unoccupied and in disrepair.  The Community wanted to restore the center and reactivate its usage.  The center was previously used for children services and community functions.  Available funds were very limited for repair work. 

SOLUTION:  Bright Works prepared budgets and priority lists to help secure grants for repair and restoration work.  The roof was repaired, exterior walls patched and painted, gym windows replaced, sidewalks replaced, and a new playground installed.  There is now an active preschool in the center, after school programs, and many other community activities scheduled at the Center.  If you have any questions or need information, call Bright Works today at (503) 697-7724.
